Deputy of the lower house of parliament takes part in CIS Interparliamentary Assembly standing commission meeting

From 21 to 23 October, Tashkent hosted a meeting of the Standing Commission of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states on culture, information, tourism and sport.

The meeting discussed issues related to improving model legal acts in the areas of archives, personal data protection, student sport and the activity of creative unions. A concept of amendments to the model law “On Archives and the Archival Fund” was also presented, covering updated rules for storing and using electronic documents, ensuring the integrity of archival materials and enabling their restoration.
