Tajikistan and EBRD sign loan and grant agreements worth more than 62 million euros

In Dushanbe on 2026-10-29, the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed loan and grant agreements for two projects: “Water Supply and Sewerage of Kulob City” worth 9.6 million euros and “Rehabilitation of the Baljuvon - Sari Khosor road” worth 52.85 million euros. The total value of the agreements is 62.45 million euros.

The road project aims to rebuild 54.1 kilometres of road, construct 10 bridges and install 121 culverts. It is also intended to improve the stability and safety of transport links in the republic’s mountainous areas.
