Speakers of Central Asian parliaments lay wreath at Ismoili Somoni monument
On 29 October 2026, as part of the Fourth Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian states, parliamentary speakers and delegations laid flowers and a wreath at the Ismoili Somoni monument in Dushanbe.
On 29 October 2026, a flower-laying and wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Ismoili Somoni monument on Dusti Square in the capital as part of the Fourth Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian states.
The visiting dignitaries, accompanied by the Chairman of the Majlisi milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali, laid flowers and a wreath at the base of the monument to the founder of the first Tajik state, expressing respect for the Tajik people's national and historical values.
